On January 30, 2017, at the UN Headquarter in New York, Prof. Givi Gavardashvili had officially met with the Ambassador of Georgia to the UN - Mr. Kakha Imnadze, Ambassador's Advisor - Ms. Nino Shekriladze also attended this meeting. Discussions focused on preparation of International Innovative Initiatives in the field of environment protection and agriculture. Both sides also discussed about the preparation of documentation for the granting of Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and its support towards the UN.
